			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yet again, I want to share another project that never became a realty. I was contacted about some proposed work, haven&#8217;t been hired yet, but had a moment of inspiration and decided to run with it and drew this logo mascot. The district incorporates a star into all of the school logos but didn&#8217;t have one for the high school. They use a traditional cardinal mascot that I felt could use some updating. Here is my solution.</p>

<p>Read about the symbolism and see some imagery <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion_of_St_Mark" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
<p>The solution I came up with was to have the wings on the lion look like waves behind him. Sadly, the concept only made it as far as a quick hand drawn sketch.</p>
