Early Kurios sounded like Oasis (they used a lot of acoustic based sus chords) and then Liam learned of Anberlin, Jimmy Eat World and The Starting Line all that the same time. The MySpace page actually has a few songs on it to listen to and I think the music is available on iTunes. The MySpace page claims that the influences are- "Worn directly on our sleeves... Big Tent Revival, Oasis, Matchbox 20, Jimmy Eat World, The Starting Line" I'm not sure about the Oasis comparison, but the others seem about right. It was rock music.
